Overview
As a VoteHub intern working on graphic and UX/UI design projects, I designed data-supported visual assets and UI layouts for their Kalshi partnership 2026 Midterm Forecast--reimagining how political data could be presented in a way that was both creative and professionally appropriate, adhering to VoteHub's branding. I shaped the interface around a tension between analytical depth and an approachable first impression.
VoteHub is a nonpartisan and independent "political media organization that aims to provide top-notch, innovative coverage in three key areas: election reporting at a detailed level and in real time, public opinion survey aggregations, and analysis on election results and trends."

Problem
Election forecasts can ask people to interpret maps, probabilities, distributions, and race tables before they understand what any of them mean. The opportunity was to make political data approachable without flattening its detail.
Solution
I organized the forecast around clear visual summaries, race level detail, and illustrated cues that make the system feel less intimidating. The design connects maps and probability views with a more welcoming visual language.
